Fix Espresso, my local working week lifeline! Its not easy to find cafes in Perth that are happy to make your coffee the way you actually like it. I can always trust I get exactly what I like, the way I like from a friendly and engaging staff.
Peak times can be busy, but its a good sign, and its never too busy to get good, polite and friendly service. I generally don’t mind flicking through a newspaper, having a chat to staff as they work.
Fix Espresso is a gem in the heartland of West Perth and I can certainly recommend it if you like a nicely made, decent coffee or snack and friendly outgoing staff. Worth the quick walk across to Outram Street when you’re in the West end of Hay Street neighbourhood.

My ESPRESSO was terribile , very bitter the cups was full to the top …the service was poor….

I visit twice a day. Blair knows how to make great coffee.
There is nothing flashy except the big TV, which should be ditched.

They don’t have a blog, don’t have a website, and don’t use twitter or Facebook. They don’t have $15,000 Synesso Espresso Machine and the barista doesn’t have a beard.

Fix is probably my favourite West Perth Cafe. In a competitor rich environment like West Perth where you can throw a tennis ball and hit 5 coffee houses from one spot you have to do things a little different. Fix Espresso is my favourite place to go. I like the staff, the service and most importantly the coffee. Jonathan and the team make you feel at home if you are there to just read the paper, meet a client or catch up with friends. We are spoilt for choice in West Perth but for me there is no choice I go to Fix!
