Nowhere to sit down, but they make up for it by really pushing the standing theme to its purest limit. It is a nice place to drop in and stand around and it has a serious 1950’s vibe to it. You have to have friendly and chatty baristas if you want to deny people seating, and they do. Very cool people. The coffee and presentation is elite, but I think Velvet’s flavor is brighter and ultimately superior. However, at that level it is worth what you pay for it. They go for a blended flavor. Nothing jumps out at you. However, twice I have order a long mac topped up and they refuse to top it up. It ends up being like a traditional mac. Still very very good, but I asked for it to be topped ALL THE WAY UP. It makes a difference. This means they have their way and they stick to it. You have to get over it. That is tolerable only to an extent, and thus why I still got o Velvet. Great cafe.

Haven’t had a bad coffee here yet.
Place is a little small and gets crowded pretty fast in the mornings.
The guys love their coffee and are enthusiastic about it.

This is one of the very best coffee places in Perth. The coffee is outstanding, and always consistent, and they always have great choices of guest blends to try. They also do syphon coffee, which are a whole new experience.
They team are friendly, and always happy to talk to you about any aspects of coffee. The retro-theme works well in the space they have, shame there is no where to sit, but that’s just a side effect of being in the arcade.
